SJSU Alumni Symposium

I gave a presentation at the SJSU Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Alumni Symposium describing the lessons learned for our design team in the transition to Agile development. The presentation was well received and a lot of people asked for advice on their own work situations. I also spoke on the Alumni Panel. April 23, 2011.

Graduate Seminar Presentation

I gave a presentation to Dr. Tony Andre's Graduate Seminar class at San Jose State University discussing opportunities for Human Factors graduates and an overview of the major redesign that our Ellie Mae team did with Encompass360. October 29, 2009.

I started working at mortgage software company Ellie Mae as Manager of their User Experience team this week! January 28, 2006.

IDSA design awards

I attended the IDSA Design Awards with several of my former colleagues from IDEO. It is amazing how work from 4 years ago can still get attention. I accepted the Silver Award for Research for the Medtronic N'Vision handheld programmer for pain management devices with Roshi Givechi and Bill Wurz. The fourth member of the team, Jan Seyberth, is now working in London. October, 2003.
